What skin types is it for?
VELA works best for oily, combination, and congestion-prone skin types. If you have active breakouts, rosacea, or very sensitive skin, consult a dermatologist before use.
Our Story
Born from Experience
VELA was born out of frustration with a beauty industry saturated by cheap plastics, harsh chemical cycles, and complex, over-engineered routines. We wanted to strip away the noise.
Our philosophy is rooted in architectural minimalism and uncompromising hygiene. By pairing intentional ergonomic design with surgical-grade materials, we created a single, permanent ritual designed to refine skin texture and clarify pores seamlessly. No filler. No compromise. Just pure skin cultivation.
Your Questions, Answered.
Does it hurt?
Not at all. VELA is designed to glide — not scrape or scratch. When used correctly at a 45° angle on prepped skin, it feels like a smooth, satisfying sweep. If it ever feels uncomfortable, you're pressing too hard.
Will it stretch or damage my pores?
No. Pores don't permanently stretch from gentle mechanical tools. VELA lifts debris from the surface and just below — it doesn't pull or suction aggressively like pore strips or vacuum extractors that can damage the skin barrier.
Is it hygienic? How do I clean it?
Yes — and it's easy. After each use, rinse VELA under warm water and wipe with a clean cloth. For a deeper clean, soak the tip in micellar water or gentle cleanser for 30 seconds. Let it air dry. Never share your VELA.
How is this different from pore strips or a blackhead vacuum?
Pore strips rip — they remove the top of the plug but leave the root. Vacuums suction aggressively and can cause broken capillaries. VELA uses a mechanical glide to physically collect loosened sebum after your BHA or oil cleanser has already done the dissolving work. It's the final step your routine was missing.
How often should I use it?
1–2 times per week is ideal for most skin types. Always use on prepped, softened skin — never on dry skin. Follow with a ceramide moisturizer to seal the barrier.
